Alex Lozowski New Deal And Loan
Saracens have announced that Alex Lozowski is the latest player to confirm his future at the club. Lozowski has signed a new two year deal at the club and will head to French Top 14 powerhouses Montpellier for the next season. This announcement follows a number of similar deals for Saracen’s big stars. Alex Goode, Jack Singleton, Ben Earl, Max Malins, and Nick Isiekwe will all be joining Lozowski in playing elsewhere for the year and then returning in the hopes that Saracen’s are promoted back to the Premiership.
Lozowski came to prominence as a Fly Half at former club Wasps and has since transitioned into a Centre at Saracens. He joined Saracens in the Summer of 2016 and has gone one to make 107 appearances. The 26 year old has shown his capability across the backline, even on the wing, and his all round game allows him to flourish wherever he is needed. He will most likely be playing in the Centres at Montpellier, due to the arrival of World Cup winning Fly Half Handre Pollard.
Alex Lozowski has played a prominent role in a number of Saracens titles since his arrival at the club. He was called up to the England Squad in 2016 but he hasn’t quite kicked on at the International level yet. He is still young and a season playing top level tough rugby in France could put his name back in the mix for England honours.
