Elliot Chilvers Signs Pro Contract For Ealing Trailfinders

Young Loosehead Prop Elliot Chilvers, has signed his first professional contract with Ealing Trailfinders. The front-rower won the Coaches Player of the Season in the Academy last year after he played in 14 matches for Team Brunel during their promotion winning campaign.

Director of Rugby Ben Ward:

“Elliot is a young player who we believe will have a hugely successful career at the club. He has been training with us in the first team and we have been impressed with his attitude and progression. 

He needs to keep improving but he is at a good place to do that and I expect him to be an important part of our future.”

Phillips Signs New Ospreys Deal

Opsreys Hooker Ifan Phillips has signed a new deal at the PRO 14 side. The 25-year-old has put pen to paper on a deal which keeps him at the Liberty Stadium for the next two seasons. The homegrown talent made his senior Ospreys debut off the bench in an impressive 31-22 away win over Wasps in the Anglo-Welsh Cup at the start of February 2017.

Scottish Rugby Chief Executive Joins Celtic

Celtic have appointed Scottish Rugby Chief Dominic McKay to their Chief Executive role. McKay has been with Scottish Rugby for 13 years and was promoted to chief operating officer in 2015.
