San Diego Legion have confirmed that Dylan Audsley will be returning for the 2021 Major League Rugby season. The talented Centre has gone from strength to strength, since making his MLR debut in 2018. The London born USA Eagle has a complete skillset and some serious pace. He would have learned from All Blacks legend Ma’a Nonu last season and you can expect him to be even better next season. The Legion were unbeaten, in the shortened 2020 season and will be looking to get their hands on the shield in 2021. To do that, they needed to keep a core of that 2020 squad together and re-sign talents like Audsley. The 26 year olds versatility is also a plus, with his ability to cover full Back and pretty much anywhere in the backline, if you needed him to.

This will be welcome news for Legion fans. With JP Du Plessis heading to NOLA Gold, there will be even more call for Audsley’s skills and ability. Audsley is a USA Eagle and will be looking to add more caps to his collection. A strong season with the Legion, will only help his case, as selection for the Eagles grows ever tougher. Audsley came through the St.Mary’s College system, where he won multiple National Championships and was selected for the Collegiate All-American side. Audsley was prolific at College level and was awarded the Rudy Scholz Award, as the best collegiate player. His game has developed even more since then and he will look for further progress, within this talented side. Dylan Audsley looks set to be a big player, for the Legion, next season.
